Chason Arthur's Answer · At the nursery I work at, we call these groundcovers "stepables," which means they are good for use between stepping stones and pavers and will not be severely damaged from foot traffic. Here in north Georgia, I would recommend using Blue Star Creeper (Isotoma, Laurentia), Dwarf Mondo Grass or Creeping Jenny. Matt-forming Creeping Thymes, such as Woolly Thyme or Elfin Thyme, are also a good choice if the area is well-drained. You might want to visit your local nursery and garden center to see what they recommend for your area.)
