What kind of bug may be eating my variegated ginger plant? It has large holes on the ends and some chomp marks on a couple. I live in zone 10.

The soil produces water, oxygen, nutrients and root support which plant needs. You can build healthy soil by a compost bin, mulch, rotating crops, limiting soil disturbance, and plant cover crops.
