Our Lantanas get to be 5' X 5' during the Summer and smother everything near them. When and how to prune them to save other plants.

Answer #1 · Matt Heidke's Answer · Hi thanks for your question. Either in late winter or early spring, you can prune lantanas back to about six inches to a foot from the ground, especially if there's a lot of old or dead growth. If they are severely overgrown, they can be pruned back to about a third of their height and width..)
