We had a 15 foot privacy hedge of tea olives on the border between our neighbors and our house. They had a tree company prune them this week and it was extreme. 15 feet down to 7 feet now and no leaves all chopped off and only left bare branches. Will it come back after this severe pruning? We installed a fence in front of the pruned plants to restore privacy and our neighbor thinks this will kill the tea olives? We don't want to harm them and want them to grow back? Will a fence keep them from regrowing? Any advise will be helpful so we can maintain happiness between our homes. Thanks. Debra Robinson
