Maple Tree's Answer · Hi Barry-From what I have seen the Ivalace ivy leaves probably average 1 1/2 -2 inches in length. As with all ivies this can vary depending on the amount of light it receives. More direct sunlight will usually produce larger leaves than those in a more shaded environment. This specific ivy has small dark green leaves that have a crinkled effect along the leaf margins. It is also a more compact growing ivy than others that can climb or spread 2 feet or much longer than the Ivalace. There is a huge number of varieties of ivy. If you could upload a close up picture of your ivy leaf and the leaf dimensions it may help to identify which variety you have. Above this answer and to the right of your name below your question you will see where you can upload any picture you have saved on your computer. Another popular small leaf variety is the Needlepoint ivy. My Needlepoint Ivy leaves average from 1 to 2 inches in length when grown in filtered shade under my trees. I uploaded a picture of the needlepoint Ivy below for you to see. You can also go to the American Ivy Society website where you may be able to indentify the plant you have. You can also type the word Ivy in the search box under the 'Plants' tab above and possibly find the ivy variety you have. If you have any other information that may help or you upload a picture I will automatically see it and get back to you as soon as possible.
