I see that they bloom in Spring, Summer and Fall, correct?

Do they need to be cut down then when it starts getting cold & snowy in the Midwest?

Thank you

Answer #1 · Maple Tree's Answer · Hi Nancy-I normally find the Intenz Celosia in the nurseries and garden centers starting in early summer. They will bloom from early summer till the middle of fall. If you live in a warm climate you can sometimes find them in late spring. This celosia is an annual and will only live well for one year, needing replacement the following year. I live in a very warm climate with mild winters but even in my location the chances of them surviving through the winter and looking nice again in the spring has never been good.

Please ask if you have any other questions.
