Maple Tree's Answer · Hi Rafael-If you applied the beneficial nematodes a month ago and the temperatures have been fairly warm (above 45 degrees F) they most likely have done some good. If you feel you need another application it is best to wait now until spring. During the cooler winter temperatures most insects are dormant and will do very little or no damage during this time. The nematodes that are still living, most likely very few, will be dormant if not dead also and will do very little before the soil temperatures rise in spring. The benefical nematodes are best applied in the spring once temperatures warm. A second application 7 to 10 days later works well as this staggers the life cycles of the nematodes to insure complete coverage. If you know you have a severe insect infestation additional applications may be needed every 10 days until the problem has been taken care of. Always purchase your nematodes from a reputable supplier as you want to make sure all are alive and well. Be sure to store them properly in a refrigerator (do not freeze) and apply carefully as per the packaged instructions.
Hopefully this has helped.
