Answer #2 · Chason Arthur's Answer · Here in mid-Georgia lantanas, butterfly bush, Black & Blue Salvia (salvia guaranitica) and other salvias, Butterfly Weed (asclepias tuberosa), Pincushion Flowers (scabiosa), Gaillardias, Verbenas, and Asters to name a few are great perennials for attracting butterflies.)

Answer #1 · Chason Arthur's Answer · Whoa...that's a big question for this forum. There are hundreds of species and varieties of perennial plants that will attract butterflies to your garden! The selections you will make will depend on the USDA Zone you garden in and the availability in the market. Visit your local nursery and garden center from time to time, especially during the spring and summer seasons to see what butterfly attracting perennials they have in stock. Keep in mind that some perennials are only available for short periods of time during the year. Best thing to do is plot out an area in your landscape for a perennial garden and spend an entire growing season filling it up with butterfly attracting perennials as they come available. Make sure to know the mature heights and widths of plants so you can place and space them properly in your garden.)
